Description
The Independence Farmers' Market offers the freshest produce, plants, jams, jellies and more in Independence. Browse the offerings or pick your favorite vendor. Either way, we'd love to see you at the Independence Farmers' Market.
The Independence Farmers' Market offers a wide selection of locally grown meats and produce, homemade sweets and treats, and handmade crafts, all grown or made within 100 miles of Independence. Because this is a producer-only market, products delivered by boat or purchased at auction are not permitted.
Our location at Independence Uptown Market allows us to operate the market most of the year, with a summer season from May through October and a winter season from December through April. Independence Uptown Market has a covered outdoor pavilion and a covered pavilion with restrooms available to the public.
We accept various forms of payment including cash, cards and EBT.
In addition, individuals participating in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) are eligible for the Double Up Food Bucks program, which provides up to $25 per week in fresh fruits and vegetables.
